The Car Competition Draw on 11 Dec - 10 finalists were drawn from over thirty thousand entries at the Wimpy Court.
The Car Give-away on 17 Dec at the Wimpy Court: there to witness Mrs Zubeida Cole announced as the winner of the brand new Hyundai 1.6 GLS Hatch, were Mc Matt Stern, 9 other finalists and a very cheerful crowd of festive shoppers.

For your convenience, four gift wrapping counters will be set up around the centre. These will be manned from the 1st to the 24th December during the centre's trading hours. The proceeds going to the following local Charities: Avril Elizabeth Homes, All our Children First, Hospice and the SPCA.

A number of performances are lined up to make your Christmas shopping full of festive cheer throughout the month of December. Look out for the wonderful variety of entertainment ranging from light classical music, to more popular entertainment from the likes of Eclipse, Buchanan, Platoon, the African Youth Ensemble and the Salvation Army's Torrance Brass Band from the USA. Also to be included are roaming acts like a violinist, saxophonists and flutist.

Santa Arrival & Carol Singing Evening Date:Fri, 30th Nov 2007
Santa Arrival & Carol Singing Evening with the Johannesburg Philharmonic Orchestra. Join us in welcoming the festive season in fitting style with the exciting arrival of Santa and his entourage of helpers on Friday 30th November. They will arrive at 5:30 and create a cheerful buzz around the centre ending up at the Garden court area (Entrance 2, lower level), where a carol singing evening with the Johannesburg Philharmonic choir is set to take place at 7pm. Funds raised from the sale of the novelty lights on the day will benefit the Edenvale Rotary Club.
